Course Objectives

• Demonstrate compliance with health and safety requirements and approved working practices
• Understand the quality control systems and procedures to be employed during the dismantling, preparation and securing of bolted connection systems
• Prepare work areas, equipment and materials for the dismantling, preparation and securing of bolted connection systems
• Dismantle hand torque bolted connection systems
• Remove and replace components relating to hand torque bolted connection systems
• Assemble, secure and tighten hand torque bolted connections
• Verify the integrity of the assembled joint
• Reinstate the work area, equipment and materials
