Norbar EvoTorque® Battery Tool
Norbar’s new battery powered torque tool delivers accurate, efficient and intelligent controlled power to threaded fasteners. The EvoTorque® Battery Tool unique joint sensing technology continually measures the joint during tightening and when necessary, employ dynamic braking to avoid torque over-shoot due to motor inertia.
The new EBT has been developed to meet the market need for cordless torque tools, eliminating the need for on-site generators and the problem of unreliable on-site voltage stability, whilst decluttering the workplace of trailing cables and hoses. This cordless torque tool is capable of delivering exceptional power and accuracy whilst, crucially, gathering and transmitting the mission-critical data required for modern quality control systems.
The EvoTorque® Battery Tool is operator-friendly and easy to use, with a digital readout where torque output can be set to ensure accuracy. Designed with a dual trigger button ensuring hands are safely positioned for ultimate operator safety.
Offering the complimentary software ‘EvoLog’ for data management, the EvoTorque® Battery Tool ensures ultimate traceability for auditing and quality purposes, where results can be downloaded against the ID of individual users.
The range includes three torque ranges 1,350 N∙m, 2,700 N∙m and 4,000 N∙m with each tool being supplied in a hard case with two batteries and a three-bay rapid charger that enables cold batteries to be fully charged from flat in 45 minutes.
18V, 5.0Ah Lithium Ion Battery Technology
Eliminates the need for hoses, making it suitable for remote operations where access to electricity and compressed air is not available. The efficient 18V, 5.0Ah Battery Motor gives outstanding fastening performance per charge.
Intelligent Data Management
Complimentary PC software ‘EvoLog’ for data management and tool configuration with three modes of operation: Torque, Torque and Angle and Torque Audit. The Evotorque also has USB and Bluetooth® 4.0 data transfer with up to 3000 readings, time and date stamped, saved in memory.
