Easter Egg Donations for Local Food Bank

Easter Egg Donations for Local Food Bank

This Easter, HTL Group in Cramlington and Enerpac in Morpeth took part in an Easter Egg collection, with all donations going to the local Trussell Trust foodbank. The Easter Eggs will be given to the children of families who use the food bank and would have otherwise gone without a treat.

Due to the generosity of our colleagues, we collected nearly 200 chocolate eggs!

Thank you to everyone who donated and also to our colleagues, Maria Patey, Suzanne Pickering, and Michael Eastern for delivering the parcels to the food bank.

Joyce Docherty, Project Manager at the Cramlington Food for the Trussell Trust, comments,

“Thank you very much for your kind donation to Cramlington Foodbank. Your thoughtful donation of Easter eggs has already gone into parcels being provided to local people and will, without doubt, be a really lovely treat on top of the usual items provided.

Without bighearted donations like yours, it would be impossible for the volunteers here at the Foodbank to provide for the many people in our area who are in need of such help.”

Easter Fundraising

HTL Group wanted to help raise the spirits of the nation and spread some hope and joy across our local communities as lockdown restrictions are set to be eased by the government this week. We know that celebratory occasions can come at an additional cost to families, but we want to make sure that no-one goes without Easter Eggs this year, which is why our donation will be going straight to the local communities where they are needed most.
