HTL 100 Cycle Challenge: Helping children battling cancer

HTL Group are taking on a new cycling challenge ; the HTL 100, to raise money for their adopted charity, Jessica’s Sarcoma Awareness.

The 2 day challenge will see participants cover a distance of 100 miles through the rolling roads of Northumberland. The challenge begins at HTL’s Headquarters in Cramlington, and finishes at Alnwick on day one, before returning to Cramlington.

The charity supports children fighting cancer by aspiring to achieve Jessica’s dream of building a respite lodge for families and children who are battling cancer. The lodge project which is in its early stages now, will provide families with a place to stay whilst undergoing cancer treatment at the RVI hospital in Newcastle, as well as offering a chance to make treasured memories away from home.

Each cyclist has a sponsorship target of £100, however 2015 & 2016 cycle challenge participants exceeded all expectations and have beaten their target 2 years running with the unbelievable support and generosity of supporters.
